9-16 Update

I can't be more pleased with the progress our students have made these first couple of weeks of school. Students are familiar with daily routine and are taking responsibility for their learning. 

I am so very proud of these accomplishments.

Unit 1 in Math is almost finished. On Friday 9-16, we completed our first test. There will be an  additional  in-class project as an additional means of having students show what they have learned. Unit 2 will focus on using numbers and organizing data. Please click on the Math tab at the top of this page for a link to homework help, activities to challenge and also to reteach math concepts.

In Science. students just learned about the layers of our atmosphere and what the term greenhouse effect is. The chapter 1 test will be next week (day not yet determined). Please click on the Science tab at the top of this page for some videos that we saw in class.
